Tough Dog Performance 4WD Torsion Bars are engineered to deliver stronger Front-end support, improved handling, and increased off-road capability for torsion bar–equipped vehicles. Featuring a spring rate approximately 30% higher than OEM, these torsion bars are designed to handle the demands of touring, off-road driving, and added Front-end weight.

The increased spring rate helps eliminate hard bottoming out when travelling off-road, while also providing more controlled and stable handling on the street. Tough Dog torsion bars can be installed with a moderate pre-load to raise the vehicle for improved ground clearance, or fitted at standard ride height to restore factory handling on tired suspension setups.

These performance-proven torsion bars are especially beneficial for vehicles fitted with oversized tyres or additional Front accessories such as bull bars, winches, and underbody protection. Designed for straightforward installation, they offer a reliable and effective solution for improving Front suspension performance.

To ensure safe operation and correct suspension geometry, a minimum of 60mm suspension droop (down travel) must be maintained, regardless of vehicle setup or accessories fitted.

Their quote was reasonable and were prompt getting the job done as I was living at Dalby and didn't have alot of time.The Ute sits up higher but not ridiculously high and sits even with the canopy on the back.
